Bird In Hand
As a precaution to a few reports of HPAI (Avian Influenza) in Stark County, Beech Creek Gardens has made the decision to cancel Bird in Hand until further notice. For more information about HPAI click here.
CANCELED
Although we are sad to close Bird in Hand, we’re putting the finishing touches on some exciting activities that will make this season one to remember!

Upcoming Events:
Winter Workshops
Kids Winter Workshops
Bird in Hand
Canceled as of 1/17 due to Avian Flu Precaution.
Experience the thrill of hand feeding chickadees! Our volunteers are ready and equipped to show you how it's done.

Also, roast marshmallows by the fire and drink hot chocolate at no extra cost.
Brrrrr.... It's so cold!
That's good! The chickadees are more likely to eat from your hand if it is cold.

The reason Bird In Hand works is that birds can struggle to find food when it is cold and snowing. It is much easier to eat seeds right out of your hand!
First Energy Foundation Storybook Trail
Thanks to the First Energy Foundation, the story of "Rory: An Orca's Quest for The Northern Lights" is featured on our story book trails! The story book trails are scenic walking paths where books come to life. As you walk through the gardens you'll see more of the story unfold.
