Have fun creating from a great assortment of projects! This year we are introducing kids workshops perfect for ages 8-12.

Kids: Pollinator Palace

During this hands-on workshop kids will create their very own pollinator homes! Participants will fill wooden birdhouses with a variety of paper straws, providing a cozy nesting spot for pollinators. After assembling their pollinator homes, the children will have a blast painting and decorating them to make each one unique.

Dates: March 22 & March 23 

Registration Fee: $18  (Members $14)

Details: Size, 7” tall, 6” wide, 5” deep. Class duration approximately 1 1/2 hours.

Kids: Willow Wonders Bird Feeder

Join us for a fun and educational hands-on workshop where kids will learn to create beautiful birdfeeders using willow branches woven together. This engaging activity not only sparks creativity but also teaches the importance of supporting our feathered friends during the winter months.

Dates: February 22 & February 23

Registration Fee:  $16  (Members $14)

Details: Project size14” tall, 6” wide. Class duration approximately 1 1/2 hours.

Forest Terrariums

Liven up your winter by creating this magical little forest. An assortment of live miniature plants will be available to choose from including ferns and mosses. Learn the best terrarium layering techniques and materials to use. Plus how to keep your new miniature forest healthy & beautiful! A take-home care sheet will also be provided. All supplies included.

Details: Glass jar is one gallon size, 10” tall, 7.5” wide. Class duration approximately 1 1/2 hours.

Butterfly Shadow Box

During the workshop, attendees will learn about the fascinating world of butterflies, their life cycles, and the importance of conservation. Our expert instructors will guide you through the process of arranging and preserving these delicate creatures, along with complementary floral and natural accents, to create a visually captivating display.

Woven Charcuterie Platter

This engaging hands-on workshop will teach you the art of basket weaving to create a stunning charcuterie tray in the shape of a leaf. This unique and functional piece will be a beautiful addition to any home, perfect for serving delicious treats or as a decorative centerpiece.

Air Plant Tapestry

Air plants are the plants of your dreams! They require no soil and only a small spray of water on occasion to stay alive. Learn how to expertly arrange them into a stunning tapestry.

Details: Size is 15” x 12”. Class duration approximately 2 hours.

Macrame Pot Hanger

Join us for this creative hands-on workshop where participants will learn the art of macramé to create a unique plant hanger. This workshop features a special twist: incorporating a rustic branch harvested from our very own Beech Creek Gardens forest into the macramé design, resulting in a stunningly unique and artful piece.

Dates: March 15 & March 16

Registration Fee:  $47 (Members $40)

Details: Size, 36” tall, 12” wide. Will fit a 5-7” pot. Class duration approximately 2 hours.

Garden Obelisk

Make an instant impact, by adding art, height, texture, interest and style to your patio, flower or vegetable garden! An obelisk gives a garden amazing symmetrical structure, giving a sense of grandeur and at a minimal cost. Plant vining flowers or vegetables to grow on them or simply add them as art in the garden.

Details: All supplies included. Size is 60’ tall x 18” diameter. Class duration approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Tree of Life Door Hang

Join us for a delightful hands-on workshop and create a beautiful spring wreath designed as a 'Tree of Life'. Using grapevines, branches harvested from our forest, and vibrant silk flowers, you'll craft a stunning and durable outdoor wreath that symbolizes growth, renewal, and the interconnectedness of all life.
